Nastya is a half-orphan
In the photo is 9-year-old Anastasia from Luhansk, who a moment ago received useful gifts as part of our “Give light to children” project with PrivatBank!
Nastya is a half-orphan. The girl’s father, a border guard of the DPS of Ukraine in the “Dozor” special unit, died in 2022 during the de-occupation of the Kharkiv region. The loss of the dearest person was the most painful blow after all that Nastia had already experienced.
The girl was not even a year old when she and her mother were forced to leave their hometown because of the Russians and flee to Lysychansk. In 2022, history repeated itself: Nastya’s new home was again occupied, but now as a result of a full-scale war. Since then, the little Ukrainian girl lives in Ivano-Frankivsk, where she gradually recovers after all the losses. However, it is very difficult.
According to mother Svitlana, her daughter was really looking forward to the gifts from Save Ukraine and was incredibly satisfied. After all, the tablet with the “Rozumnyky” software will help Nastia continue her online studies at the Luhansk Academy, and other useful gifts will come in handy on the way to her healing and development.
It is extremely gratifying to know that another child who lost the most precious in this war shows us a smile and with the support of adults steps forward to the future.
Later, we will share with you news about orphans who also received gifts of “safety and development” thanks to the “Give Light to Children” project.
