Building a new life for the second time: the story of the Ibliiev family
Do you remember the Ibliiev family from Toretsk, which we’ve already told you about?
The family fled the war twice — from their native village of Spartak first and then from Toretsk, where they had to live under shelling for almost two years.
This story has a happy continuation. Fortunately, Olha and her son Maksym managed to leave for a safer place, as far as possible from the hostilities. Now they live in Bukovyna.
This family has been under the care of our team for six months now. Thanks to the support of Save Ukraine and the local community, the family got a roof over their heads and, more importantly, took steps towards independence. Olha has been working at a cannery for more than a month, receives a stable salary, and is making plans for the future.
We are glad that we could help the family not only to find a safe place but also to restore a regular life. We thank our partners and all the caring people who help us overcome the consequences of the war and help the victims rebuild their lives with joint efforts.
We believe that every family that has been traumatized by war will be able to find their way to recovery and a new life. We invite you to support us via the link.
