World Children’s Day
On World Children’s Day, we want to emphasize that every child deserves a safe childhood,
access to education, and their parents’ love. Unfortunately, due to wars, poverty, illnesses, and family troubles, millions of children worldwide are deprived of their basic rights.
For 10 years now, Russia has been making Ukrainian children suffer by:
🔹 eradicating the national identity of over 1.5 million people living in Russian-occupied territory
🔹 deporting and forcibly taking almost 20 thousand to Russia
🔹 injuring over 2000 due to recurrent Russian shelling
🔹 forcing hundreds of thousands to abandon their homes and flee to other parts of Ukraine or abroad
🔹 turning hundreds into orphans by killing their parents at the front
To many, this may seem like regular war business. But to us, these are hundreds, thousands, millions of stories about lost childhood, crumbled plans, and taken lives.
At Save Ukraine, we’ve been helping children get their childhood back for over 10 years. Our organization evacuates, rescues from occupation, provides psychological assistance, social and humanitarian help, and stands up for children’s rights in court.
We move heaven and earth so that Ukrainian children have a cozy home, safe space, and family love. Join our mission to give every war-impacted child the chance for a happy childhood. Let’s do everything we can for children to gain confidence and be happy.
