We signed a Memorandum with Bring Kids Back UA
446 children — that’s how many little Ukrainians we managed to bring home from the occupation and TOT. Among them, in particular, are orphans and children deprived of parental care. Each comeback story is not just a separate victory but also the beginning of a new path.
As part of the Bring Kids Back UA program, Save Ukraine cooperates with the Coordinating Center for the Development of Family Education and Child Care in accompanying and supporting issues of children who have returned home after deportation or occupation.
During the year of our cooperation, the case managers of the Coordination Center supported and accompanied 145 returned children to help them adapt and recover from the experience.
To continue our joint work on the reintegration of returned children and the development of services in communities, we signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership with the Coordination Center today, which provides for:
🔹comprehensive assistance to those who returned from deportation, forced displacement, or occupied territories;
🔹providing families with children with temporary housing after return;
🔹providing psychological support and medical assistance;
🔹humanitarian aid (food, clothing, hygiene products);
🔹providing legal advice and assistance with documents;
🔹assistance in obtaining social services.
The memorandum will allow us to continue to combine efforts and resources to support children and families returning from deportation more effectively. After all, every child has the right to a happy life at home, in the circle of relatives
