We have sheltered over 800 seniors in our centers
We have sheltered over 800 individuals in our centers for seniors and people with limited mobility since the start of the full-scale invasion.
Our teams in Irpin and Kamianka-Buzka are dedicated to providing essential support to the elderly and disabled individuals we evacuated from combat zones. We offer residents not only a cozy refuge and basic necessities but also comprehensive assistance: psychological, medical, social, and legal.
Our ultimate goal is to help these vulnerable individuals rebuild their lives, safely move to partner shelters, and find a new permanent home within or beyond Ukraine. During times of war, seniors and those with limited mobility become one of the most vulnerable groups, unable to fully care for themselves.
Today, spring is gradually arriving at our centers, bringing joy to the hearts of our residents 💐. We are proud of every story of World Jewish Relief for the opportunity to positively impact people’s lives.
