We build children's life skills thanks to the support of USAID and PACT
Save Ukraine psychologists conducted a series of training sessions for teenagers aged 13-18 as part of the project “Complex psychological assistance to children and families affected by the war.”
On March 22, the subject of the meeting was ‘How to be the person you want to be’ and ‘Basics of high-quality interaction’ on March 29. The program aims at psychological recovery after the traumatic experience of war.
During the classes, the children learned the practical skills of effective communication, self-knowledge, and holistic personality development. Specialists used psychoeducational techniques in a game form, which contribute to deepening self-awareness and self-knowledge, motor exercises, elements of acting skills, and poetic self-expression.
The results of the work revealed the need for further training for teenagers. Therefore, the following meetings are already scheduled. It is planned to discuss the subject of conflict and healthy relationships.
We are very grateful to USAID and PACT for supporting such important work with children! After all, only timely psychological help will help them overcome the trauma of the war and take a dignified step into the future.
