Not by studying only!

Recently, the wards of our day center in Dnipro had a very interesting and active time playing floorball!

Floorball is a type of hockey. This game improves reaction, endurance, spatial orientation, agility and concentration. It also teaches you to be proactive, purposeful and responsible for your actions.

Our teachers saw how floorball united the little wards – they laughed a lot, communicated, learned to take into account each other’s opinions and interact in a team to achieve the goal. And it was not the victory that became the most valuable result of the game, but the children’s joy.

In our 12 day care centers for orphans, which operate with the support of We Are All Ukrainians and RTL – Wir helfen Kindern – Spendenmarathon, little Ukrainians receive both social support and help with school programs. Our teachers also help children to adapt to the new environment among their peers, provide them with psychological support, and promote their physical and creative development. All this is to help our children rebuild their lives after the traumatic experience of war.

Step by step, we are returning smiles, dreams, and faith in a better future to our children.
