The Save Ukraine team received an award Oxi Courage Award!
The Oxi Award is an extremely valuable award that honors the resilience of the Greek people during World War II. Every year, Oxi Day unites nations across time and space in this courage. And its award goes to the bravest figures whose actions contributed to the preservation of freedom and democracy.
Last year, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received the Ohi Award, and this year we – the Save Ukraine team – received it. After all, for 9 years we have been tirelessly rescuing Ukrainian children from war, reuniting them with their relatives, and rebuilding their lives. For more than 600 days we have been fighting for the future of young Ukrainians, returning them from russia and the temporarily occupied territories to Ukraine.
“We realize that the future of our children and the preservation of our nation’s identity depends on our dedication to this cause. My heart is full of gratitude and hope because I am sure that together, with the support of the whole world, we will continue to return our children home,” the head of Save Ukraine Mykola Kuleba said in his video address at the Oxi Award ceremony.
This is a great honor for every bee of the Save Ukraine rescue network. Without a doubt, our team will continue to carry this torch of courage, illuminating the path of our children to a peaceful future in Ukraine!
We are also very grateful to Ms. Oksana Markarova, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA, who received this significant award.
