The Save Ukraine team has already provided housing for 105 Ukrainian families
The Save Ukraine team has already provided housing to 105 Ukrainian families who lost their homes as a result of Russian aggression.
Fort Home is, without exaggeration, one of the most important projects of our organization, as it allows rebuilding the lives of adults and children from the frontline areas who have been left homeless due to hostilities.
Thanks to the support of the All Hands and Hearts, our volunteers, together with a developer partner, installed compact modular houses throughout Ukraine and equipped them with everything necessary for long-term family living.
There is autonomous heating and air conditioning, generators in case of power outages, household appliances in the kitchen, bed linen and other necessary things. The houses have two versions of projects, one of which is for people with disabilities. All in order for families to be able to recover from the experienced upheavals in comfortable conditions.
In this way, the Fort Home project provided free housing to a considerable number of large families, families with limited mobility and adopted children. It is these most vulnerable categories of the population that we give preference when choosing a settlement. However, the Save Ukraine team do everything possible to support everyone in a difficult moment!
We continue to take care of displaced people even after they move into new housing: we provide food, help them socialize in the community, place children in school and kindergarten, and advise parents on employment. We are happy that already so many Ukrainian families managed to start a new life in our modular houses. And the Save Ukraine team is not going to stop! This year, we plan to establish another 50 houses for displaced people, so that as many families as possible can regain their faith in tomorrow.
So further – only better!
