The Canadian delegation of Save Ukraine studies the experience of Boost organization
As part of the visit to Canada, Save Ukraine’s leader, Mykola Kuleba, visited the Boost organization center in Toronto, a leader in Ontario in providing psychological, legal, and social assistance to children who have survived the most severe forms of abuse, including sexual violence. The visit to their center was incredibly insightful and productive. We observed how their carefully constructed child-friendly environment ensures children and their representatives feel safe at every stage of their interaction with the center. This atmosphere of care and security accompanies children during interviews, therapeutic sessions, and consultations with specialists.
Boost supports over a thousand children annually who have experienced abuse, providing them with a chance to heal and move forward. The Save Ukraine team had an excellent opportunity to adopt their best practices. This experience inspires us to develop similar services in Ukraine so our children can access essential support, feel encouraged, and recover for a happy and healthy future.
Together, we will create an environment where every child feels safe and receives the help they need.
