This winter, Ukraine continues to face a deep energy crisis caused by Russia’s ongoing attacks on critical infrastructure. Even Kyiv experiences regular power outages, leaving families without light, heat, or a sense of safety during the coldest months.

Thanks to the support of Canada-Ukraine Foundation through the Winterisation Support program, Save Ukraine received electric generators for our centers. This support came at a crucial moment.

Because of this partnership, families living in our Hope and Healing Centers now have electricity and warmth during blackouts. Our Point of Resilience also continues to operate, offering people a safe place with light, heat, and the ability to recharge both devices and strength.

This is what joint action looks like. When partners stand together, families are not left alone in the dark.
