When Ukrainian children are taken en masse by russians to their territory, the russian Ombudsman for Children’s Rights, Lvova-Belova, calls it “rescue.” When our children are forbidden to speak Ukrainian, imposed their own fictional history, in which Ukraine does not exist, and brainwashed with propaganda, the russian authorities say that every child has the right to learn their native language at school and live a happy and carefree childhood.

Russia’s cynicism knows no bounds. It is doing everything it can to deprive Ukrainian children who find themselves in the temporarily occupied territories because of its military aggression.
