Save Ukraine children received backpacks from Jens from Denmark
Meet Jens, an 11-year-old boy from Denmark whose heart is as big as his dream for peace. After learning about the war in Ukraine, Jens wanted to help — and he did something truly amazing.
He collected 8,000 euros by hand-making and selling keyring, all to support Ukrainian children affected by the war. His compassion reached across borders — and recently, it reached our centers in Irpin and Hatne.
Thanks to Jens’ heartfelt initiative, children with disabilities and kids from vulnerable families at Save Ukraine’s centers received backpacks filled with joy and essentials.
The logistics and coordination were organized by Kolo Nordic together with Save Ukraine, and the backpacks were handed out to the children as part of a shared effort.
Jens, your light is shining brightly in Ukraine. Thank you for reminding us all that kindness has no age—and that one small action can change lives.
