Art therapy for the wards of our day center has reached a new level!

Last week, the children attended a master class in modeling with real clay. The children had the opportunity not only to learn how to work with a new material, but also to express their emotions and feelings in their crafts. Modeling perfectly develops fine motor skills, creativity and triggers incredible processes that have a positive impact on the child’s psycho-emotional state.

As a result of the children’s hard work, new ceramic products appeared: hearts, emoticons for friends, and a mushroom. And Oleksandra from Oleshky village, Kherson region, who managed to leave with her grandmother, created a unique “all-seeing eye”.

The master class was held thanks to the joint efforts of the Mama JANE Foundation of our Save Ukraine team. We would also like to thank the Art Studio Creative Kitchen and its owner Robert Okopov, who is currently defending Ukraine, for providing the art space for our event. This week the classes will continue, because the children really enjoyed the creative work.
