Hero City Irpin and Save Ukraine: Launching a New Level of Cooperation
On the grounds of the abandoned “Yasnyi” children’s camp, an Integrated Social Services Center — an innovative, modern settlement for socially vulnerable families and children — will be built.
In the heart of the forest, within a community that knows the hardship of losing a home and has helped integrate over 20,000 internally displaced persons.
The project envisions installing and equipping over twenty modular homes for families in difficult life circumstances, rehabilitation centers for children and teenagers with disabilities, a social dormitory for orphaned teens and children deprived of parental care, and homes for foster and patronage families.
Families with children who have returned from temporarily occupied territories, those who were returned from russia, children of veterans, and children who have lost one parent in the war against russia will get special attention.
Additionally, an integrated inclusive sports and playground facility will be built on the grounds of the former sanatorium, accessible to both the residents of the Irpin community and the recipients of services in the settlement.
The project is the brainchild of the Save Ukraine founder and head, Mykola Kuleba. With the support of international partners and the Irpin territorial community, we will create a place of care and assistance for families with children in Irpin.
