Last week, the Save Ukraine team rescued 15 children and teenagers from occupation and deportation. This became possible thanks to the support of partners within the framework of the President of Ukraine’s initiative Bring Kids Back UA. All of them went through fear, threats, and pressure — but now they are finally safe.

Among those rescued:

19-year-old Yaroslav, who was taken to a basement by FSB officers and interrogated all night. The occupiers forced him to sign a contract with the russian army.

18-year-old Iryna, who spent several days in a corridor without food or water because she could not safely leave her home. The streets were under constant tank shelling, and russian soldiers were “hunting” young women, aggressively chasing them in cars. As soon as she turned 18, she did everything she could to escape the occupied city.

9-year-old Nazar, who had been forced to live under shelling for the past four years because his family had no way to leave the occupied village. russian soldiers dug trenches just a few hundred meters from their home, so shells constantly flew over the house, and mines often landed in their yard. Today, thankfully, the entire family is safe.

These children, along with 12 others rescued last week, have now been given a chance for a new life. All of them are currently staying in our Hope and Healing Centers, where they receive psychological support, assistance with documents, housing, and care — everything they need to regain peace and their childhood.

However, thousands of Ukrainian children are still trapped. The enemy is increasing pressure, introducing year-round conscription, and making rescue routes even more dangerous. But we do not stop.
