Writer Tasha Torba visited the children of our Community center in Irpin! Mrs. Tasha introduced our wards to the fairy-tale hero of her book — the spirit of the Irpin forest, which helps the inhabitants go through all the trials of war. To create this character, the author was inspired by heroic events in her hometown. Therefore, the spirit of Omm is every defender and volunteer, thanks to whom Irpin lives and Ukraine continues to live.

The children were genuinely impressed by the story of the magical hero and the interactive play about the hero city. Young Ukrainians were full of emotions and creative enthusiasm. And the girl Nastya, who lives with her family in our modular house, even sang her own author’s song.
