Winter support from Canada-Ukraine Foundation
For families who have survived the horrors of occupation and lost their homes in cities like Bakhmut, Sloviansk, and Nova Kakhovka, a blackout is never just a power outage—it is a return to the cold and darkness they fought so hard to escape.
The individual generators we delivered to these households provide more than just electricity. They mean that a mother can safely store refrigerated medical nutrition for her child, and that a grandmother who survived the rubble of a rocket strike can finally keep her home warm.
Through the Winterisation Support program, and thanks to our partnership with Canada-Ukraine Foundation, we are ensuring that those who have already endured so much are not left to face the freezing winter alone.
We are deeply grateful for the support of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation (CUF), represented by Chair of the Board Andrij Maleckyj, Executive Director Valeriy Kostyuk, and Project Manager Marianna Kaminska, whose commitment makes this support possible.
We also sincerely thank New Use Energy for supplying the generators and power stations, and Paul Shmotolokha for their continued support of Ukrainian families.
Whether it’s keeping the power on for a child who depends on medical nutrition, or simply turning on a light in a dark room, this support is more than electricity—it restores dignity, safety, and a sense of stability.
We are incredibly grateful to all our partners for standing with these families during their most vulnerable moments.
