We urge everyone to protect themselves and their children
The Save Ukraine team often cooperates with the local police to rescue people from the frontline areas. And this morning, together with the Kherson police, our rescuers evacuated a family with children who lived in one of the Kherson chummeries.
When our boys arrived at the address, they saw a mother as exhausted from constant stress as her daughters. The family that survived the occupation thought the liberated city would now be safer. But Kherson still remains a front-line area where it is extremely dangerous to be. After all, Russian troops are shelling dormitory areas where civilians live every day. Therefore, lately, they spent more time in the shelter than they could freely walk around the city.
Now the family is safer. Our team took them to the bus station, from where they went to their relatives in Odesa, to at least have a little rest from the Russian terror.
We once again urge everyone to protect themselves and their children. If your city is currently close to the front and is constantly under fire, don’t delay, call the Save Ukraine hotline with support from USAID Ukraine:0 800 333 129
