How our centers help seniors and people with limited mobility recover
Even a single decorated cookie can make the day a little warmer. And a new haircut can restore a sense of dignity when life has been turned upside down. It’s these small details that make up the great process of recovery.
Our Hope and Healing centers in Irpin and Kamyanka-Buzka continued their tireless work.
In Irpin:
🔹 Volunteers from Green Studio helped elderly women with new haircuts — a monthly tradition that lifts spirits and restores inner strength.
🔹 We organized a festive greeting for International Women’s Day: flowers, words of support, and small gifts created a cozy atmosphere.
🔹 One of the most challenging situations was assisting a woman with a severe head injury. The team worked together to stabilize her condition and ensure she was hospitalized.
In Kamyanka-Buzka:
🔹 Due to the increase in evacuation requests, our team intensified efforts. Every day is an opportunity to save a life.
🔹 Art therapy continues — this time, beneficiaries decorated cookies with a psychologist. Taste, colors, and a bit of joy help restore a sense of calm.
We work every day — for safety, healing, and support.
🙏 Thank you to our partners: LandsAid, Aktion Deutschland Hilft, and everyone who supports our mission.
