UN Special Representative Vanessa Fraser Met with Rescued Children
Save Ukraine founder Mykola Kuleba held a meeting with Vanessa Frazier the UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict.
During her visit to Ukraine, Ms. Frazier witnessed firsthand the realities Ukrainian children are living through and met with those whom we were able to bring back home. The rescued children personally shared their testimonies.
Mykola Kuleba noted that while there is still no official mechanism for rescuing Ukrainian children from occupation and russia, Save Ukraine’s rescue missions remain the only truly effective path. Thanks to these efforts, we have already rescued 1,276 children — the majority of all children returned in Ukraine to date.
We continue our rescue missions and call on the international community to support our work, as today it remains the only real path to bringing Ukrainian children back home.
