Training session on cyber security
Cyberbullying, fraud, sexting — these urgent problems in the lives of teenagers were discussed last week by volunteers of ACET with Save Ukraine wards during a training session on cyber security.
Today, young Ukrainians cannot imagine their world without the Internet. However, along with all the advantages and opportunities that the virtual network provides, there is also a cyber threat. Children are increasingly exposed to bullying, manipulation and fraud by cybercriminals. So we are incredibly grateful that our friends from ACET raised the issue of cyber security at another friendly meeting with teenagers.
During the training, our students discovered the dangers that can be hidden in the habitual use of social networks. They learned how to protect their accounts and personal data privacy, how to avoid cyberbullying and fraud, and what to do in such situations.
In order to consolidate the theoretical part, the children completed several practical tasks, including the exercises “I am in social networks”, “Friendly messenger”, “Safety zone”.
Thus, this meeting became another step towards the safety of young Ukrainians in modern life.
We are grateful to the volunteers from ACET and we will continue to take care of the future of our children.
