We've opened a day support center for children and families in Irpin
This is another safe space where kids can receive quality psychosocial support, heal the war trauma, catch up on their education, and prepare for independent life. This vital support will reach IDP children, orphans, and those rescued from deportation and occupation. Additionally, our experts will assist foster families, who will also learn essential parenting skills.
The establishment of the day center in Irpin was made possible through the USAID Ukraine project ‘Building a Resilient Public Health System,’ where 15 Save Ukraine psychologists underwent relevant training, and the facility was equipped with modern educational tools.
We are grateful to all our incredible partners and guests who attended this significant event: Director of Usaid Ukraine, James Hope; PACT Country Director in Ukraine, Aliona Herasymova; Mayor of Irpin, Oleksandr Markushe; and the Head of the Mental Health Coordination Center at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Oksana Zbitneva.
Thanks to you, even more Ukrainian families affected by the war will be able to rebuild their lives. And that’s how we will rebuild the well-being of Ukraine!
