In the afternoon, Save Ukraine rescuers in the south, as usual, brought drinking water for people to one of the Aid Points [IP] in Ostriv district. When suddenly the Russians launched a powerful attack on the building with shrapnel shells.
Today our heroic Kherson team faced a tough challenge.
In the afternoon, Save Ukraine rescuers in the south, as usual, brought drinking water for people to one of the Aid Points [IP] in Ostriv district. When suddenly the Russians launched a powerful attack on the building with shrapnel shells.
Our volunteer Oleksandr miraculously escaped serious injuries thanks to his bulletproof vest and armored vehicle. The rescuer got a mild contusion and is currently undergoing a medical examination.
However, two of his colleagues volunteers from @life_ministry_international, who also helped people in the IP, were seriously injured.
These traces of debris on the car of our volunteer remind us all of the extreme danger that rescuers face while doing their job. And also, once again, of the insidiousness of the Russians in deliberately attacking peaceful citizens and volunteers.
