The World Vision monitoring group visited our Community Centers
In April, a monitoring group from the world-famous World Vision charity organization visited our Community Centers
The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the work of our centers within a new joint project on making up for educational losses and psychosocial support for children, implemented with the support of World Vision and ECHO.
During its visit, the monitoring group visited various locations of the centers throughout Ukraine to assess their activities and further project implementation. First, they visited Yuzhne, met with our team at the office, and visited the centers in Irpin and Hatne. Then, the group worked at the Holosiivskyi Center.
Then, World Vision representatives visited our facilities in Korostyshiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Ivano-Frankivsk. And finally, there was a final meeting in the Lviv office of World Vision, along with a visit to our Community Center in Lviv.
During the monitoring, the group had the opportunity to personally observe various activities for children and familiarize themselves with the work of our specialists.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to see the wonderful work of Save Ukraine and its partners. Community and Daily centers play a vital role in every city, as formal services are overburdened and not everywhere available. Save Ukraine and its network provide the necessary support through various services and activities for children faced with difficult life circumstances,” said Verena Bloch, World Vision International’s senior advisor on child protection in emergencies, about the visit. Ms. Verena also noted that our centers are oases for children, spaces for creativity, play, learning, and, most importantly, to enjoy life!
Shortly, we will prepare a detailed video report about how monitoring is working in our Community Centers. We thank World Vision for fruitful cooperation!
