The Norwegian Embassy Visits the Hope and Healing Center
On March 5, our Hope and Healing center welcomed special guests—a delegation from the Norwegian Embassy in Ukraine. Ambassador Helene Sand Andresen, Senior Advisors of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mari Skaare and Sigvald Hauge, Embassy Secretary Ina Sivertsen, and the Save Ukraine team, led by Mykola Kuleba, discussed key issues related to assisting Ukrainian children and families affected by the war.
The guests spoke with the center’s residents—children who had been brought back from occupation—and their families, who have found a safe haven here. The delegation paid special attention to how Save Ukraine upholds the rights of people with disabilities, ensuring a comfortable and secure environment for everyone.
“It was a great pleasure to see all your work and, above all, to receive gifts. But this one—the Ukrainian flag made by the children—is especially valuable to us. It will have a place of honor at the Embassy. Thank you for inspiring us with your work. Thank you for everything you do for Ukraine. We will do our best to find ways to support your efforts,” shared the Ambassador.
This visit marked the beginning of further cooperation. The Norwegian Embassy and Save Ukraine agreed to work together on projects that will support affected families.
We are grateful to the Norwegian Embassy for their support and believe that, together, we can do even more for those in need.
