The Mayor of Hamburg visited the Save Ukraine center
Recently, a delegation from Germany led by the Mayor of Hamburg, Dr. Peter Tschentscher, visited the Save Ukraine Community Center in Kyiv.
“Our main goal is to provide wide support and restore opportunities for children whom we have returned after deportation to Russia, and families whom we have evacuated from temporarily occupied territories. We are very grateful to our partners from around the world. Only through cooperation between authorities, non-governmental organizations, and motivated individuals we can achieve the best results,” — noted the founder and CEO of Save Ukraine, Mykola Kuleba.
The guests were pleased to learn about the work of the Community Center, which provides a safe environment designed to offer comprehensive support to families with children aged 5 to 16. This is one of 15 centers operating in Ukraine. It was opened with the support of the partners of the #hamburgkyiv city pact, which include the City of Hamburg, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and the aid organizations #WeAreAllUkrainians and Hanseatic Help.
The visitors presented gifts to the children participating in the Center’s activities, and the children, in turn, presented the guests with hand-drawn paintings and memorable souvenirs.
Save Ukraine expresses gratitude to its partners and looks forward to further fruitful cooperation.
