Early intervention team: the first 6 months of success
For the past six months, Save Ukraine early intervention team has been working in Irpin, helping the youngest children develop harmoniously and supporting their parents with essential parenting knowledge. Thanks to the support of the Dutch government, this project has become an important step in children’s development and their families’ support.
The early intervention team includes a speech therapist, psychologist, rehabilitation specialist, pediatrician, and case manager who work together to create individual family plans for each family. They believe that modern methods and joint efforts can make a positive impact on the lives of children and families. The successful results are solid proof of the words mentioned above:
👶 60 families have received comprehensive support;
🎯 Children have made significant progress in physical, speech, and emotional development;
🤝 Parents have learned how to better understand their children and create favorable conditions for their growth.
Our team helps families adapt to new realities and feel confident in these challenging times. At the Day Center, we work not only with children but also with families as a whole. In addition to individual consultations, group sessions, intensive programs for parents, and mini-groups for children called “Independent Babies” are held. Our plans include involving more families, expanding services, and organizing seminars for professionals and parents.
We thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, represented by the Ambassador of the Netherlands, for the financial support of the project and for believing that collective efforts can change lives for the better. Together, we are building a harmonious future for Ukraine’s children! 💛💙
