Every Ukrainian family returning to Ukraine is like the entire universe coming back, a universe that Russians attempted to destroy.

Through propaganda and pressure to take Russian passports, amid threats and mockery, the Russian Federation in the occupied territories tries to obliterate the national identity of our children. They strive to make children not just forget their true history but also to develop hatred for their Homeland.

However, it’s impossible to impose one’s ideas on people through lies and intimidation. It’s impossible to kill the memory and love for the native land when you came as an invader. That’s why Ukrainian children, even when trapped by the enemy, continue to dream of coming back home. And they do come back.
