Supervision of Psychologists in the PACT Project
Last week, the Save Ukraine counselors underwent another round of supervision, during which specialists conducted an in-depth analysis of complex cases, shared experiences, and discussed new trauma treatment methods.
Why is this so important? Collective support is essential for everyone. Each of us has different approaches, cases, and solutions, and this diversity makes these psychologist meetings invaluable. The specialists find optimal and eco-friendly solutions for their clients, confirm the trajectory of client management, and study new effective methods and techniques. In modern realities, a psychologist must always stay in tune with the latest technologies in extreme psychological assistance for those affected. These meetings are not only a process of professional support for the counselors but also an excellent means of preventing burnout.
Therefore, supervision sessions improve the quality of the psychologists’ work and help them remain resourceful. It is critically important to provide actual help to those in need.

These consultations are part of the program Comprehensive Psychological Assistance to Children and Families Affected by the War, implemented within the USAID project Building a Sustainable Public Health System with the support of PACT. The program aims to provide psychological support to internally displaced persons—both adults and children—who have experienced trauma.
