Strong Civil Society – A Strong Ukraine
Volunteers and NGO workers often face burnout, resource shortages, and complex challenges. Supporting their resilience is essential to ensuring they can continue saving lives and helping those who need it most.
That’s why last week, our team took part in the “Capacity Building for Civil Society Organizations in Ukraine” seminar, aimed at helping Ukrainian NGOs operate more effectively in the extremely challenging conditions of war.
Over two days, our colleagues from Save Ukraine learned how to maintain leadership and motivation during wartime, build strong teams, attract resources, and exchange experiences with other organizations working in Ukraine.
We are grateful to the organizers, Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe and Diakonie Württemberg, as well as to the Ministry and Parliament of Baden-Württemberg for their financial support, which allowed us to gain new tools and inspiration for our ongoing work.
This is just the first step—upcoming mentorship programs and training sessions will help us become even stronger.
