Save Ukraine psychologists held 227 consultations
Psychological rehabilitation is the path to recovery for thousands of war victims. Our team of psychologists is just beginning this crucial mission.
In just one month of work, specialists of the Save Ukraine project “Complex Psychological Assistance to Children and Families” provided 227 individual consultations! It became possible with the support of USAID’s “Development of a Sustainable Public Health System” and the PACT organization. In addition, specialists held 32 group classes under various therapeutic programs for adults and children.
Among the recipients of psychological services are 164 adults and 63 children. The vast majority are internally displaced persons and war victims, people with disabilities, victims of domestic violence, and families with antisocial ways of living. All of them need long-term comprehensive psychological help to overcome the traumatic impact of war.
Along with providing consultations, our psychologists constantly improve their professional skills. And all of it despite the tremendous workload. In just one month, they were able to help a large number of victims! And there is still so much work ahead…
