Save Ukraine team meets with U.S. Senators at Okhmatdyt children’s hospital
The Save Ukraine team had the honor of meeting with U.S. Senators Richard Blumenthal and Sheldon Whitehouse at Okhmatdyt, a national children’s hospital that has become a heartbreaking symbol of the war’s toll on our youngest citizens.
During the visit, the senators spoke personally with three rescued children. Among them were two teenagers saved from forced conscription into the Russian military, and Rostyslav, who was deported to a camp and punished with isolation for refusing to submit to the Russian regime.
We are deeply grateful to the Senators for their steadfast support and decisive actions. We thank them for their work in strengthening sanctions, advocating for the transfer of confiscated Russian assets to aid Ukraine, and pushing for ultimate accountability for those responsible for the abduction of our children.
Thank you for your solidarity and for standing alongside the children of Ukraine.
