Results of psychological support for children and families affected by the war
The USAID project, Public health system recovery and resilience activity, supported by Pact, has completed an 8-month mission of psychological support for war-affected individuals.
During this time, psychologists in our centers worked on restoring mental health and promoting social adaptation for those affected. They conducted over 2,000 psychological consultations for internally displaced persons. Each individual received the necessary support through individual sessions, group programs, training, and art therapy. Also, specialists placed a focus on children, teenagers, and people with disabilities from the frontline and occupied areas who had lost everything due to the war.
At the same time, we also supervised the psychologists, conducting over 120 sessions to ensure our specialists could continue providing quality assistance.
Thanks to the team’s tireless efforts, we have helped thousands of Ukrainians cope with emotional trauma and find the strength to live. Here, we share our achievements in numbers over this period.
