Rescued 244 Ukrainian children from Russia and the occupation
Our Save Ukraine Team has successfully rescued four more children from the temporarily occupied territories. Life in these areas is extremely difficult for children and families. They face the constant threat of shelling, a danger tragically realized for Maria’s 15-year-old son. He was shot by a drone while biking to a friend’s house just down the street.
Families living under occupation endure immense pressure, particularly if they resist acquiring Russian documents or enrolling their children in Russian schools. Without a Russian passport, even accessing medical care becomes a challenge.
This is why it’s vital to assist as many children and families as we can to flee the terrible conditions imposed by the Russian forces in the occupied areas. So far, we have successfully returned 244 children to Ukraine.
