Save Ukraine and KSE Foundation launch a new phase of psychological support for children and families affected by war
The war leaves invisible wounds—children and parents coping with the loss of home, loved ones, or months spent in evacuation and occupation. Psychological recovery is as critical as shelter or warm clothing.
Thousands of families live with untreated trauma. Children rescued from deportation, those with disabilities, and internally displaced people face long-term risks without timely psychological support.
With the support of KSE Foundation, Save Ukraine is implementing the project “Comprehensive Psychological Assistance for Children and Families Affected by War.”
🔹4 Hope and Healing centers in Kyiv and the region
🔹2 Community centers for children with disabilities (Irpin and Hatne)
🔹A team of psychologists, art therapists, and case managers providing individual counseling, group therapy, and tailored recovery programs.
Expected Impact:
✅Provide psychological assistance to at least 600 internally displaced people
✅Support 200 children with disabilities along with their parents and caregivers
✅Deliver specialized care to 20 children who survived sexual violence and exploitation.
“We cannot wait until the war is over to begin healing wounds. Support is needed today, and we are grateful to KSE Foundation for making it possible,” — Save Ukraine team.
📌 This project is made possible thanks to the support of KSE Foundation – the charitable foundation of the Kyiv School of Economics.
