Psychological support for mothers
Even in difficult times of war, we continue to take care of the psychological health of our families. Therefore, our psychologists, Valentyna Olefir and Daria Petrovska, have organized two important meetings for the Hope and Healing Center mothers in Hatne.
In a relaxed atmosphere, mothers of junior high school students had the opportunity to talk about the psychological characteristics of children at this age and how the parenting style in the family affects the child’s development. The second meeting was devoted to the topic “Role positions of parents in a family with addiction”.
Our specialists liked the activity of the participants, their questions, and lively discussions. Women shared their experiences and discussed the importance of a daily routine, quality sleep, proper nutrition, and educational games for children. Mothers liked the topic of establishing healthy boundaries between parents and children.
The purpose is to show young parents that a psychologist can be a reliable source for them, especially in life-crisis moments. And we are always ready to provide professional support and assistance. Together, we can overcome any difficulties and raise happy and healthy children!
