Part of the Save Ukraine rescue team in the east
The photo shows part of the Save Ukraine rescue team in the east. They evacuate children, adults, and disabled Ukrainians from the hottest war zones – Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
We don’t often mention these brave people, although you’ve seen their faces more than once in video reports of our activities. When guys in their arms carry children and old women with disabilities out of damaged houses when they cover kilometers on foot amid explosions to reach families from the frontline areas when they escape from enemy shelling by themselves.
The guys have to work in conditions of critical danger, amid the devastation. This is approximately the everyday “landscape” you see behind them in the photo. Despite this, rescuers still show us dedication, courage, and humanity. Just like everyone in the Save Ukraine team.
We believe that these high qualities are capable not only of bringing our Victory closer but also of building a wonderful future for coming generations.
We thank each savior for his Cossack work and choice to fight for the most valuable thing: people’s lives. Because Ukraine is, first of all, its people.
