Last week, the wards of Save Ukraine took part in a training on the topic “Live and Love”, which was conducted by our friends from “ACET” within the framework of the “Teens & Joy: psychological rehabilitation of Teenagers during the War” project.

During the discussion, the children shared their thoughts about what love is and how we can show it to each other. Young Ukrainians discovered the “5 languages of Love” and understood the importance of defining their own love language in communication with relatives, friends, and others. And vice versa – they found out the love languages used by their loved ones.

The topic was so fascinating to the kids, that they actively supported the discussion and haven’t missed the opportunity to express their views on various things and situations. And it is indescribably pleasing! Another interesting topic of discussion was the issue of forgiveness and the influence of insults on our future.

Despite the sincerity of the topic, the event was filled with a friendly and warm atmosphere. And so that the children don’t suddenly get bored, volunteers prepared creative tasks and exercises for them. During one such experiment called “3 glasses of water”, our wards learned in practice how you can fill your resource in order to be full of love and share it with others!

Each such meeting delivers teenagers incredible emotions and significant knowledge that will help them cope with many life challenges. Thank you ASET for supporting children on the way to their mental recovery!
