Our psychologists working with the elderly attended a training
This week, our psychologists working with the elderly attended a training organized with the support of our friends and partners, the humanitarian organization World Jewish Relief. The event took place in two of our hubs, and its participants learned about the technology of a person-centered approach to working with the elderly.
During the training, Save Ukraine employees reviewed the causes and types of dementia, ways to preserve the quality of life of people with this disease, and learned about the possibilities of preventing the development of dementia and the differences in treatment approaches in Europe and Ukraine.
We thank Larysa and Yana for their informative and interactive time!
Since the beginning of russia’s invasion of Ukraine, World Jewish Relief has been actively supporting the humanitarian initiatives of our team. Today, with their support, Save Ukraine operates two comprehensive care homes for the elderly, including people with limited mobility and disabilities. Thank you for your trust and partnership!
