Our kids decorated a fragment from a Russian combat vehicle on the eve of Unity Day in Ukraine.
By painting a piece of iron that brought death and sorrow to our land, the children transformed it into a work of art, where each drawing reflects their love for Ukraine and belief in its bright future. After finishing symbolic creation will be handed over to friends of the Save Ukraine Foundation, who currently support our efforts to help Ukrainian families.
In celebration of Unity Day, the children also participated in a flash mob reading Ukrainian poems and engaged in art therapy where they crafted guardian angels and decorated jars for trench candles. Further, they collected cards, goodies, and other necessary items for military battalions, where two brave Save Ukraine volunteers currently serve. We hope these items convey our full support and gratitude to Ukrainian soldiers for the opportunity to live today in our unbreakable country.
Thanks to the specialists from the Hope and Healing Center in Hatne for organizing a wonderful workshop and other activities for the national holiday.
