Learning English is an investment in the future for war-affected children
Children who suffered from Russian aggression got a unique opportunity to learn English under a program at Save Ukraine centers. Before the start of the course, our psychologists helped teachers adapt the curriculum for each child individually, taking into account their emotional state and life circumstances.
The project “Rehabilitation of Ukrainian children returned from Russian deportation” was made possible with the assistance of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, acting on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development of Great Britain (FCDO).
In addition, our British Council partners helped to equip an art therapy class and improve the conditions for art therapy classes, during which our students can not only engage in art but also relax, and relieve stress. They can increase their cognitive abilities.
We are sincerely grateful to the British Council for this amazing investment in the future of young Ukrainians! Learning English will open new horizons for them to obtain quality education and better employment.
It is only the first step on the road to restoring children’s dreams and hopes. Together, we are approaching our great Victory!
