The Save Ukraine art therapists, along with residents of our “Hope and Healing” center, participated in a workshop on fabric painting using the batik technique, led by coach Olena Byer.

During the creative event, all participants learned a new technique of fabric painting called knotting batik. Its uniqueness lies in the ability to choose colors based on feelings, apply paint without understanding the final picture, and always create unique patterns as a result.

This valuable technique will assist psychologists in discovering new ways to interact with children and improve their psycho-emotional well-being. For our young and adult participants, the workshop provided an opportunity to gain an unforgettable creative experience and delve into their inner world through the use of various materials.
