"Iron shift" breaks the standard patterns about children's camps
The wards of our “Hope and Healing” centers, together with other children of Ukraine who had suffered because of the war, have already gone to a new, satiate camp from Ukrzaliznytsia. During 12 days, the participants of the sports and patriotic mobile youth camp “Iron Shift” will travel to different regions of Ukraine and get new unforgettable impressions, knowledge, and skills.
“Iron shift” breaks the standard patterns about children’s camps. Because in this format, teenagers travel a lot, learn a lot of fascinating things, gain new skills, and expand their horizons.
Yet in the first days of the trip, the students of “Iron Shift” listened to a dog trainer’s lecture, visited the Midgard educational space, visited the agricultural enterprise “NIBULON” in Kamianets-Podilskyi, where they were able to participate in the production processes, and also visited the employees of the station fire train.
Next, the children will have excursions to castles and fortresses, to the production of Skoda cars, an educational quest, meetings with paramedics and military personnel, psychological training, interactive sports, eco-education at the Forest School, and many other interesting activities.
Thank you to The Howard G. Buffett Foundation and Ukrzaliznytsia for this wonderful project #Zalizna_zmina and the opportunity for our children.
