In the large Save Ukraine family circle
A large-scale meeting of the Save Ukraine team took place. 125 our charity employees gathered in a large hall to share the results of their work and plan for the future. More than 50 of our workers who were at work joined the meeting online.
The inspirer, visionary, founder, and head of the foundation, Mykola Kuleba, sincerely congratulated the big team and began with the story of how our journey of helping children and defending their rights began more than 20 years ago. A small initiative grew into a powerful organization that unites hundreds of people devoted to our mission work.
Today, Save Ukraine is one of the largest charitable organizations in Ukraine. It works to save and restore the lives of children and families affected by the war and also create the future of Ukraine. Representatives of the board of directors of Save Ukraine US also attended the event: Eric Gabaide — vice-chairman of the board of directors of Save Ukraine US, founder of IA Global Capital; Heather Dyer — CEO of Save Ukraine US; L. Craig Johnston is a research fellow at the Council on International Relations, chairman of Humanity Funds; Nate Mook is a special adviser on Ukraine issues of the Howard H. Buffett Foundation; Tetiana Kotliarenko is an expert on gender violence and human trafficking; Roman Sheremeta is a professor of economics at Case Western Reserve University, founding rector of Kyiv American University.
Heads of centers and departments introduced us to the members of their teams, sharing vivid stories of saving children. Each such story is a heroic way of restoring the lives of young Ukrainians whose childhood was taken away by the war. Mykola Kuleba presented the organization’s strategic goals for the next 3 years, which helped everyone understand their place in the great cause of Save Ukraine. We looked into each other’s eyes, smiled, and applauded our colleagues. It was a unique atmosphere in the air — warm, sincere, full of love and care. Everyone could feel part of something bigger and important, which changes children’s lives for the better.
This meeting once again proved that Save Ukraine is not just an organization. It is a large family of people united by common values and purpose. People for whom love for children and the desire to protect them are not just words but the meaning of life.
“We are proud of everyone who is a member of the Save Ukraine family. Your dedication, professionalism, and genuine desire to help others make our organization special. After all, the main thing in our organization is love,” concluded Mykola Kuleba. The head of the organization thanked everyone, noting that, despite the achievements, we still have a lot of work ahead of us. After all, today, we are saving children and families and growing a strong generation to create the future of our Ukraine!
