How support helps rebuild children’s lives
War has disrupted the lives of thousands of Ukrainian children. Many have lost their homes, their schools, and their sense of safety. But their resilience continues to inspire us.
At Save Ukraine’s Day Center in Irpin, we help children process trauma and catch up on missed education. Through learning, creativity, and care, they begin to heal — and believe in the future again.
🔹 Ihor, 10, fled his home under shelling. He became anxious and withdrawn. But thanks to our team, he’s now calm, focused, and engaged with his peers.
🔹 Oleksandra, 12, whose father is a prisoner of war, shut down emotionally. Now, surrounded by friends and support, she paints, dreams, and opens up again.
🔹 Milana, 7, stopped talking after repeated attacks on her city. Today, she performs at celebrations and finds joy in art and friendship.
We believe every child deserves a safe space to grow and learn — even in war.
🙏 We’re grateful to @World Vision and @EU Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid for supporting the project “Safe Access to Equitable and Inclusive Education in Ukraine.”
