How russia kills our children
Friends, recently we took part in the round table “Child Victims of Russian Aggression against Ukraine”, where together with the participants we discussed painful topics following the crimes of Russians against our children.
We have gathered the most important comments from the speakers for you ⬇️
💬 Kateryna Rashevska, expert of the Regional Center for Human Rights Public Organization:🔹 “Together with deportation, at least 14 articles of the UN Convention on the Protection of the Rights of the Child are violated, which is a third of the Convention. This is to figure out the scale of these violations, which today remain forgotten, including in the international arena.”
💬 Mykola Kuleba, founder and head of the Public Organization “Save Ukraine”:🔹 “Today, in the occupied territories of the Kherson region, parents are forced to give their children Russian citizenship, otherwise they will be deported from September 1. They are forced to hate Ukraine.”🔹 “In fact, all the children of Russia, who were previously unable to join the YouthArmy, will now be militarized through school programs. Those who have practical experience of murders, and rapes, who showed themselves “patriotically” by killing our citizens, are involved in kids’ training.
💬 Yulia Khimeryk, representative of “Investigation. Info»:🔹”In Kherson, we found a torture chamber specifically for children. There were tortured 16-year-olds who refused to study according to the Russian educational program and act as the Russians told them. Because of this, the occupation authorities came to their hostel and took them “to the pit”, where kids were brutally beaten for two days…”
💬 Maria Panchenko, head of the Public Organization “European Youth Parliament of Ukraine”:🔹 “If we talk about the deportation of children from temporarily occupied territories, then we mustn’t forget how it happens. One of the main risks is access to personal information [of children, parents], which is posted in various youth networks.”
💬 Serhii Chernyshuk, Medical Director of the National Children’s Hospital “Okhmatdyt”:🔹 “Dispensary examinations conducted by Russia in the occupied territories are a method of gathering information about our children.”🔹 “There is an impact on children’s health that is not directly visible… We will feel the consequences of this trauma for many following decades.”
💬 Yulian Ulybin, film director and founder of the “I am Ukrainian” initiative🔹 “I dream that we would have an organization like the Mossad, and we would return our children at any cost. Because I can’t imagine how to negotiate a legal agreement with a terrorist.”
