Workshops that make a difference: how creativity supports children and parents
The psychologists of the Early Intervention project do more than work with children—we help parents better understand their needs and build strong emotional bonds. One of the most effective tools is shared creative workshops, which bring joy while supporting a child’s development.
Each session is an opportunity for parents and children to create, experiment, and learn together. Activities like sculpting, painting, decorating gingerbread cookies, or making candles help develop fine motor skills, speech, communication, and cognitive abilities. They also reduce anxiety and build trust.
These initiatives are made possible with the support of the Government of the Netherlands, represented by the Ambassador of the Netherlands, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. Thank you for helping create a space where children can grow and parents receive the support they need. 💙
