Every Child Deserves a Safe Space Where They Are Heard and Supported
What does a child need after losing their home, friends, and familiar world? Safety. Care. Someone nearby who understands.
This is what our centers in Hatne and Irpin provide for displaced children and families affected by the war. Every day, work happens here that rarely makes it into photos: a child smiling for the first time in art therapy, a mother sharing her fears, a specialist offering steady support.
To make this possible, even the simplest things are essential — chairs, toys, laptops, paints, paper.
Through the project “Infrastructure for Reintegration: Support for IDP Children and Affected Families”, we were able to upgrade the equipment in our centers. New educational toys, stationery, furniture, laptops, and technical tools now help our specialists deliver daily care to children and families.
We are deeply grateful to (Hungarian Interchurch Aid) for this support. Thanks to you, our specialists can work more effectively, and children can receive what they need to recover.
