Digital education is accessible to everyone
Ihor is seventeen. He grew up under the care of his grandparents, who gave him all their love and attention. However, the death of his grandfather and the onset of the full-scale invasion shattered the already fragile world of the young man. They had to leave their home and head into the unknown. Thanks to the support of Save Ukraine, Ihor is now safe, studying in college, and dreaming of becoming an agricultural entrepreneur.
Karina spent many years in orphanages and foster families. The girl had a congenital defect, which caused her to experience bullying at school. With the start of the war, she found herself in occupied territory. Everything changed when Karina came to our center, where she received the necessary medical and psychological assistance. Soon, she underwent surgery that allowed her to speak. Now, Karina is studying and dreams of becoming a veterinarian.
The Save Ukraine team is doing everything possible to support children like Ihor and Karina. Our goal is not only to return them to regular life but also to ensure they have the opportunity to continue their education. And we are delighted when we find like-minded individuals who support our efforts.
Thanks to the support of the German Federal Foreign Office, we provided children with the necessary resources for remote learning — they received tablets that will help them gain education and achieve their goals.
We sincerely thank the German Federal Foreign Office for this significant contribution to our children’s lives. Join our mission to ensure every child has access to education and feels safe.
